Several features of MAX give you additional control over your monetization. Access these features from the Ad Units page:

Waterfall Segmentation and Cloning

Waterfall Segmentation and Advanced Targeting enable you to tailor the ad experience to certain user segments or devices. For example, you can establish specific pricing for users who have Limit Ad Tracking enabled, or you can target unique user audiences with segment targeting. You do these things by creating custom waterfalls.

Waterfall Cloning allows you to copy existing waterfalls, which saves you time when you create new ones.

Direct Sold

Use the direct sold feature to run campaigns from direct advertisers. You can prioritize them in the waterfall above network partners if you desire. You can also use this feature to run house or promotional campaigns. Learn more at the Direct Sold documentation page.

A/B Testing

AB Tests allow you to use real-time data to test the impact of changes that you make to your waterfall configuration. You can experiment with different ad monetization strategies and you can identify opportunities that will maximize users’ lifetime value (LTV).
