Incorporating Ads in Your App

When you develop your ad strategy, consider a typical user session in your app. This helps you to guide your placements. Here are a few best practices to keep in mind:

  • Focus ads where users spend the most time.
  • Set up ad triggers that reach your entire user base and that deliver a consistent experience.
  • Place ads at natural pauses. This results in a better user experience. For this reason it generally leads to higher eCPMs and more ad revenue.
  • Maximize the number of unique users that see your ads, but limit the number of ads per user to around five. Users are typically most receptive to the first few ads.
